The focus of this session will be on topics deriving from the fifth annual Internet Governance Forum (IGF), which will take place in Vilnius prior to the FIF on the 14-17th September. During the first session, some of the key contributors to issues related to internet governance share their definition on internet governance and the current state of play in this matter. Issues to be dealt with include the central messages brought home from Vilnius and how the panel speakers envision the current state of affairs in internet governance on an international, regional and national level. During the second session we will listen to future visions on internet governance and look for solutions to issues that pose problems and challenges. Both sessions will be interactive by nature and the audience is invited to participate in the discussions with their own thoughts or questions.
